Our Mission
Our mission is to fight poverty by giving at-risk teenagers resources, opportunities and ongoing support to reach their goals. We’re here to CATCH our youth from falling victim to their circumstances and lift them up as they navigate becoming the future leaders of society, especially those who are placed at a disadvantage and need our help.
Our Values
We believe the best way to help someone is to give them the tools and opportunities for them to help themselves, and teach them how to thrive in those spaces. That way they become assets to the community rather than depending on it. We believe in creating win-win situations and staying connected to support each other.
Our Approach
We’ve carefully developed three programs designed to equip participants with what they need to succeed, such as job readiness classes, paid internships, specialized training, and outreach activities in an ever-expanding network of people who want to help each other reach their goals. We also provide necessities on a case by case basis.
What sets CATCH participants apart from other nonprofit recipients is that they put in the work to achieve, and use each opportunity as a stepping stone to rise above adversity. The resilience and perseverance they possess will be an asset to anyone who decides to participate in their journey. By supporting them, you’re not just making a difference in their lives—you’re shaping the future leaders of our community.
The CATCH Initiative Programs
We are proud to offer THREE PROGRAMS that further the initiative to help our youth reach their goals. The CATCH Career Program offers job readiness training, paid internships, and continued support to aid in participants career journeys. The CATCH Multimedia Program gives specialized training to hone creative skills, and a platform to raise awareness in the community. The CATCH Driver’s Training Program helps teens reach their goal of obtaining a driver’s license and gives them the skills to stay safe and keep others safe on the road. Each program was uniquely designed to benefit adolescents in a way that will make a difference in their lives and the community.
