Many of our teens have expressed a desire to learn how to drive and obtain their driver’s licenses. Doing so will greatly impact their ability to reach educational and career goals. We want to support them in their journeys by providing Driver’s Ed courses with the help of a partnering organization. Upon obtaining their driver’s permits, the CATCH Initiative will sponsor them to take on-the-road driver’s courses. The sooner they can start getting experience on the road with professional instructors, the safer and more equipped they will be when it comes to driving and taking their driver’s license test when they’re eligible. Many people never receive professional driver training, and we think it benefits individual learners, as well as the community by making our roads a safer place. Our first study group will be hosted March 8, 2025 from 1pm-4pm. Contact Director Mauri for location details and if you need a ride.
